bridal shower #2 - 5/5/02 in Mullica Hill, NJ
Paul's nephew, Gregory, made his First Communion on Saturday May 4th. Jerry, Lorraine, Beth and Paul drove down from New England on that Friday night. We went to the party over Alice's new house on Saturday afternoon. We had two pots going for the Kentucky Derby! This is how we got Beth down to NJ. She didn't know about the shower that we were having the next day!
On Sunday, we had to get Beth out of the house before the caterer came to set up. We couldn't come up with a good way to do it, so we decided to tell her that we were having a shower for her! She couldn't escape anyway since we were in NJ. So, Beth, Dad, and Paul went to breakfast and then to Sam's Club, where we picked up the cake.
We arrived back to Chickory Lane and a houseful of friends and relatives. It was great to see everyone! We can't wait to see you at the wedding in August!!
