crane's beach
Crane's Beach is one of the most scenic beaches in all of New England. A four-mile long barrier beach, Crane's offers broad expanses of pristine, white-sand beaches and meandering trails across dunes, around boggy swales, and through a rare maritime forest. In the summer, beachgoers flock to this famous shorefront. In the winter, the beach is a wonderful place to jog, walk your dog, or gallop your horse.
The surrounding Great Marsh is home to the 680-acre Crane Wildlife Refuge. Rich with flora and rare habitats, the Refuge is a vital wildlife sanctuary for birds and mammals.
